About
Based on the DC Comics limited series by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, and directed by Zack Snyder, this dystopian take on the superhero drama takes place at the height of the Cold War in an alternate version of the year 1985. A group of retired superheroes uncovers an elaborate conspiracy while investigating a murder of one of their colleagues. The ensemble cast includes performances by Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup, Matthew Goode, Patrick Wilson, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
The character banner series received a nomination for Best Wildposts from the 2009 Golden Trailer Awards.
