Directed by Ang Lee, this dramedy stars Demetri Martin as Eliot Tiber, the man working at his parents’ motel in the Catskills who, in 1969, inadvertently launched the concert that would define a generation. Eliot Tiber wrote the memoir on which the film is based. The cast includes Dan Fogler, Henry Goodman, Jonathan Groff, Eugene Levy, Imelda Staunton, Emile Hirsch, and Liev Schreiber.
Ang Lee received a nomination for the Palme d’Or at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.
