Written and directed by Sofia Coppola, this drama stars Stephen Dorff as a newly famous actor grappling with the ennui of an emotionally empty life while staying at the Chateau Marmont. His ex-wife leaves him in charge of their 11-year old daughter, played by Elle Fanning, who helps him mature and accept the responsibility of adulthood.

Sofia Coppola won the Golden Lion award at the 2010 Venice Film Festival.
