About

Written and directed by Noah Baumbach, this dramedy stars Ben Stiller as a man at loose ends with his life who returns to his hometown of Los Angeles to house sit for his brother. While there, he develops a turbulent romance with his brother’s assistant, played by Greta Gerwig. The cast includes Jennifer Jason Leigh, Rhys Ifans, and Chris Messina.

Baumbach received a nomination for the Golden Berlin Bear from the 2010 Berlin International Film Festival. Greta Gerwig and Ben Stiller received nominations for Best Female Lead and Best Male Lead, respectively, from the 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards.

The one-sheet received a nomination for Best Comedy Poster from the 2010 Golden Trailer Awards.
