Directed by Joe Wright and adapted by Tom Stoppard from Leo Tolstoy’s 19th century Russian classic, this historical drama depicts the tragic affair between aristocrat and socialite Anna Karenina and officer Count Vronsky that resulted in her untimely suicide. Keira Knightley stars opposite Jude Law and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Kelly Macdonald, Domhnall Gleeson, and Alicia Vikander appear in supporting roles.

The film won the Academy Award for Costume Design and received nominations for Cinematography, Original Score, and Production Design at the 2013 Academy Awards.
