Directed by Wes Anderson and written by Anderson and Roman Coppola, this coming-of-age story features Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward as two preteens in a sleepy, 1960s New England town who decide to run away together. Their disappearance leads to the formation of a colorful and devoted search party. The ensemble cast includes Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, and Jason Schwartzman.

The film garnered a nomination for the Palme d’Or at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. Anderson and Coppola received nominations for Best Picture – Comedy or Musical from the 2013 Golden Globes and Best Original Screenplay from the 2013 Academy Awards.
